The site where I choose is right up the 31st St, Dunbar Park. The park contains nearly twenty five elements and there are five categories of classification after I concluded it. The first would be “If it has been being used or occupied.” Lots of activities taking place here when I wandered. Mankind is pretty much using the objects in their space. Dustbin, sidewalk, direction board, recreation facilities, fence, benches, high voltage box, playground, tennis court, grass, and trees. People throw their garage, walking or running on the sidewalk, watching direction board for their destination, playing in recreation facilities, being blocked by fence, resting on the bench, being away from it when they see dangerous high voltage box, playing football in the playground, playing tennis in the tennis courts, sitting on the grass, and relaxing under the trees. The second would be “If it was used all the time”. Through my observation, dustbin, sidewalk, soil and grass could be included. Dustbin always being filled with garbage, runners and walkers in the sidewalk all the time, the trees and grass were nurtured via the soil for sure, mankind doing their activities in the grass. The third one is that “If anything moving in your vision”. Due to the gust of wind, the shrubs, street sign, fallen leaves, grass and trees would swing out there. Crows flying from trees to trees. Squirrels are always running to avoid people. The soccer nets are going to move when they goal. Fourthly, “What kinds of things that you can get close to or communicate with it easily”. I can get to shrub, well shutter, cycle box, fallen leaves, soil easily without any boundary limitation. When I throw the fallen leaves to dustbin, try to read street sign, people biking, being blocked by fence, sitting in the grass to feel the softness of it, playing with recreation facilities, which I am trying to communicate with them. Last but not least, “Does it changed if you get close to it or communicate with it.” The answer would be yes for dustbin, recreation facilities, and grass. Dustbin could be full if mankind keep throwing waste. The finish of recreation facilities can be teared off. The grass are going to crush down or even be vanished.
